Trail
Riding
To quote Winston Churchill,
"No hour of life is wasted that is spent in the
saddle" and that is especially true when you
experience horseback riding out in open country.
We offer guided
trail rides for our guests where they can experience a wonderful mix of
landscapes and flora, including forested areas, open grasslands and wetlands. There are a lot of
free-range cattle, and it's not uncommon to see wildlife
which may include deer, coyotes, and occasionally moose and black bears
(but no rattle snakes).
Please note: Trail
riding is provided for ranch guests only, and is not
available for casual or 'drop in' visitors.
Use
Of Dreamscape Ranch Horses:
At most
Ranches the cost of your horseback riding is already
included in your nightly accommodation fee (so
you end up paying for horseback riding whether you
actually participate or not) but at Dreamscape Ranch we to treat your horseback riding separately, so you
only pay for the time you are actually in the
saddle.
Horsemanship and
Horseback Riding Lessons
We
provide our guests with horseback riding opportunities
suitable for riders of various abilities but our
main objective is for your experience to be a safe and happy one!
With that in mind, in additional to offering trail
riding,
we also have a large outdoor riding arena and
round-pen with excellent footing for general exercise, training and
instruction.
Horsemanship and horseback riding lessons
are available to guests during their stay at Dreamscape Ranch. Please
contact us to discuss how we can help you
with your riding!

Horseback Riding Policy
While we want
everyone to have an enjoyable
ranch experience, safety is our
number one priority when it comes to
horseback riding. Due to this Dreamscape
Ranch has the following horseback
riding policy in place:
-
All guests must
sign a liability waiver before
being permitted to work with the
horses on the ground or in the
saddle.
-
We reserve the
right to require novice riders
to take a Horsemanship/Riding
Lesson before being permitted
out on the trails.
-
Large and/or
heavy people may not be able to
ride if a horse of the
appropriate size and temperament
is not available.
-
We reserve the
right to limit or
restrict horseback riding for any
reason which, in our judgment, may
risk the safety of either the rider
or horse.
-
Horseback/trail riding is
provided for ranch guests only,
and is not available for casual
or 'drop in' visitors.

Bed and Bale
Have
you ever thought that the perfect holiday partner
might just be... your horse? Combine our Horse
Boarding with our great trail riding and the fact
that Dreamscape is also a Guest
Ranch, we might just provide the best
Bed and Bale
experience that you'll ever have.
Have a
look at the "Guest
Ranch Stay" or "Bed
and Breakfast" for yourself and let us
know what type of "accommodation" is required for
your horse. We charge $15.00 a night to bed your
horse which includes our local hay - the only thing
we ask is, if you require specialized feed for your
horse, you bring it with you.

Full Horse Board
Dreamscape Ranch provides quality
full
horse boarding
services that emphasize a peaceful, pleasant and
safe environment for both horse and rider. All horse
breeds are welcome for boarding at the Ranch.
Because we're on 160
acres it gives us the ability to let horses live happily and comfortably as
nature intended - outdoors. The horses are placed in herd groups that best suit
their personalities and they are given beautiful spacious pastures in which to roam
and graze to their contentment.
The horses are personally attended
to every day, have easy access to water and natural shelters, as well as
three-sided loafing sheds built to provide dry and secure shelter from the
elements.
